The life of an
agent Gabor Zigmound
Pipp / Budapest / 2004 / 82 мин
There used to be
a secret film studio in Budapest, belonging to the Interior
Office. It produced 300 teaching movies, mostly for ordinary
policemen. The real reason the studio was secret was because
other movies trained state security professionals: interceptors,
observers and contact officers. The Top Secret films were
only seen by students at the police college. Even the projectionist
had to leave the booth.
The Interior Ministry studio was self-contained: scriptwriting,
editing, dubbing was done by a permanent staff. All the characters
were played by policemen.
These movies show just how to raid homes, surveillance and
intercept techniques and how to recruit new agents.
