Download the new Catalogue of the Ukrainian Documentary

26 October 2019

Docudays UA presents the fifth edition of the Catalogue of the Ukrainian Documentary. This year's first stop of the new catalogue is the Jihlava Film Festival!

The new catalogue includes 2018-2020 films and film projects as well as works in development and production stages. Besides, information on independent producers, production companies, film and television production companies dedicated to documentary films, documentary film festivals, and non-feature film distributors in Ukraine is published in catalogue.

“I thank our team that traditionally demonstrated work at the highest level,” comments Victoria Leshchenko, the program director of the festival, "as well as curators who have processed hundreds of applications, art director Roman Bodnarchuk and designer Daria Podoltseva, who created an attractive and contemporary visual part of the catalogue, the editor-in-chief Yulia Kovalenko, who eliminated its grammatical and stylistic imperfections, production manager Sabina Asadova and typographers who "overcame" deadlines, project producer Gennady Kofman who made this all possible, our colleague Igor Kofman, who saved us this year at a crucial moment, and of course, the Ukrainian State Film Agency for supporting this important project for the fifth consecutive year. Our team is already traveling to the festivals in Jihlava and Leipzig to distribute the catalogue. We have IDFA festival in Amsterdam ahead where the delegation of Ukrainian filmmakers will participate within the framework of the event: “Ukraine: Here We Go!”

Over the years of catalogue publishing, the Docudays UA team has presented it at major film festival forums: the British Sheffield Doc / Fest, the German DOK Leipzig, the Jihlava Documentary Film Festival and Visions du Réel in Lyon.

The new catalogue, as well as previous issues, are available for download on our website.

The catalogue is published with the support of the Ukrainian Film State Agency and the Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine.
