DOCU/SPACE at Organization Development Forum

On December 3 DOCU/SPACE by Docudays UA invites all to watch festival films during the ІІІrd Organization development Forum which will take place in NSC Olympiyskiy. The Forum is the largest national platform for instruction, communication and experience exchange in the field of organization development. During two days together with leading journalists, intellectuals and politicians, forum participants will discuss the role of non-governmental organizations in peace culture development in Ukraine.

 

DOCU/SPACE by Docudays UA invites to watch short films on human rights:

 

The New Heroes (2011, 30 min., director Roman Bondarchuk)

 

Roma Dream (2012, 22 min., director Roman Bondarchuk)

 

The Southern border (2014, 10 min., director Sergey Lysenko)

 

Cornered – a film from cinema almanac Open access (2012, 25 min, director Dmytro Tiazhlov)

 

Please be invited to a discussion with the directors. Screenings start at 11.30, December 3.

 

But for screenings Forum presents unique communication platforms – a Ukrainian café, a Living history, a Workshop, where participants will be able to discuss values of the civil society, organization development, organization adaptability to a conflict, information war, etc. All events are linked under the title ‘Peace culture: how non-governmental organizations can improve their abilities in dialogue and leadership of changes in order to build and maintain peace culture in Ukraine’.

 

DOCU/SPACE can be reached through the hall ‘Olympic patio’.

All screenings are free.

The IIInd Organization development Forum is the largest national platform for instruction, communication and experience exchange in the field of organization development of charity and civil organizations. The Forum will be held by Initiative center for activity and civil initiative development «Unity». Many donors and partners will participate in the event: United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Swedish International Development Agency (Sida), United Nations development program in Ukraine, Denmark Ministry of Foreign affairs, The International Renaissance Foundation, etc.
