Docudays UA 2015: Call for submissions is open!

Call for submissions to the 12th Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival is open. Deadline for submissions is set for November 31st, 2014.

Welcomed to compete are documentary films of any genre produced within two years preceding the festival. Competition programs are:

 

DOCU/LIFE – full-length creative documentaries;

DOCU/RIGHT – full-length documentaries focused on problems with human rights observance;

DOCU/SHORT – documentaries of no more than 45 minutes of running time.

 

The winners will be awarded with money prizes. You can finf more information more about last year winners and juries on our web. 

 

For getting your film considered by the Selection Committee, please fill in the application form online.

Please submit an electronic entry-form, then print the hardcopy, sign it and then attach to the preview DVD (not necessary if you have already sent us the online screener of your film) which should be sent to our office by regular mail.

The 11th Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival was held in Kyiv, March 21-28, 2014. Festival venues were Kyiv Cinema House, as well as Kinopanorama and Kyiv cinemas; those were visited by more than 38 thousand viewers who watched 72 incredible documentaries – the best pieces of European and American documentary filmmaking, and brand new Ukrainian works. 63 international participants – from Australia to Russia – took part in the event.
